I got a call from one of his friends letting me know after the first one and I drove to London to be close to him. Silly old sod was laughing and joking to the end. I didn't know he had a weak heart and didn't realise he was in his early 70's! I thought he was 10 years younger than that! I should feel upset but he went so gently and, as far as anything can be, expectedly that I don't.

It sounds horrible but I think I’m used to death. Mum was killed in a car accident when I was in my late teens, Dad died of a heart attack almost four years ago and I’ve lost two biker friends in accidents in the last five years.

Mandy has been brilliant throughout. She took some time off work and stayed with me at Martin’s place. In fact she took so much time off without enough notice that she got a written warning and told them to stuff their job but that’s another story. I think I might be in love with the girl. Or I have wind. Not sure yet.

Actually the party itself was a bit mainstream but the rest of the night was wicked fun. Mandy looked totally sensational. She was dressed in a black full length, velvet skirt with lace up ankle boots and fishnet hold-ups. Her top was a leather bodice and she was wearing black fishnet opera gloves. I finally found a head that looks like her hair style so I've done an icon for her on this blog.

At the party we had a group of lads following us around drooling for the first part of the evening. Most of them lost interest when we started dancing closely together although one guy, Max, was very persistent. We both ended up dancing with him in the end and I shared a very nice slow dance with him towards the end of the night while Mandy was off flirting with the birthday girl's sister who claimed she wanted to experiment but turned out to be trying to make her fiancée jealous!

Mandy was very disappointed when the bitch told her what she was doing and felt very used so as we were leaving I grabbed the boyfriend and snogged him in full view of the silly bitch sister! I loudly told him that I'd loved the jump we'd had in the toilet earlier and could I have his mobile number! We left them screaming at each other outside the club and went back to the hotel with Max and his friends Caroline and Patrick (they were staying in the same hotel as Mandy and I)

We ended up sat in our huge room sharing a bottle of vodka until 4am. Max was a cool guy but Patrick was convinced he could get Mandy and I to have a threesome with him. Poor deluded fool! He passed out on the floor at 2am. As soon as he was snoring Caroline admitted to Max that she'd slept with Patrick a couple of weeks before. Max had suspected as much as it happens and wondered why neither of them had told him. Caroline soon made it clear that it was a bit of a disaster and went into intricate detail on Patrick's lack of technique, erection problems and his foot fetish! I could go into details here but I'm keeping the details for a story on my web site!

Max borrowed a permanent marker from Mandy and wrote 'Toe Sucker' on Patrick's back then dragged him to the room they were all sharing where he threw up about 10 gallons of sick over the bedroom floor. We cleaned him up (after taking pictures with Max's phone for evidence!) and left him in the recovery position on the floor then retired to our room. Luckily for Max and Caroline our room had two double beds in it so they had somewhere to sleep.

The four of us getting to bed was a bit of a laugh as Mandy and I sleep naked and had nothing suitable for sleep wear with us. That included underwear as we had one strapless bra between us! Mandy never wears knickers and I was wearing tights with my dress and prefer not to wear knickers as well. Neither of us had a change of clothing because we'd booked the hotel on the spur of the moment as we drove to the party. All Max and Caroline's stuff was in their room and probably stunk of sick by now.

After a fairly silly discussion of how much Max was allowed to see of us, he stripped to his boxers and got into bed. We turned the light out with the intention of getting undressed in the dark but the light from the street outside illuminated our room enough that Max, who made no attempts not to look, got an eye full anyway. Mandy stripped to her thong and jumped into bed with Max then tried to distract him by rubbing her boobs on his back and covering his eyes while Mandy and I stripped naked. This was supposed to be a quick strip and into bed but I got my dress and bra off and then had to help Mandy unlace herself from her bodice! By the time we were naked and climbing into bed both Max and Caroline were watching us with big grins on their faces. As I moved to get in my side of the bed Mandy switched the main light on and I ended up spot lit with my bum less than a metre from Max's face!

I retaliated by pulling the duvet off Mandy so everyone got a good look at her then we both attacked Caroline and Max, stripped them of their duvet and then Max of his boxer shorts! We all ended up in a heap on the bed pulling Caroline's thong off and making loads of noise! Luckily we were the only guests in the hotel and the reception was in the adjoining building! Once we were all naked we switched the light off and jumped back into our own beds. Mandy and I were both horny as hell and wrapped ourselves around each other and started kissing. We tried to shag as quietly as possible for five minutes but then heard sex sounds from the other bed so just got on with it!

Next morning we were woken by Patrick knocking on the door trying to find Max, Caroline and pain killers. Max jumped out of bed, found his boxers hanging over the TV, pulled them on over a fairly impressive erection and answered the door. He took Patrick back to their room and helped him clean up while we got dressed. We had breakfast together and exchanged phone numbers and said goodbye in the car park. Throughout breakfast Caroline had been avoiding my eyes and turning bright red. Mandy must have noticed her doing it too because she asked if she was OK as we were saying our goodbyes. Caroline took her to one side and whispered and Mandy laughed so I assumed she was OK. It turned out that she'd said she'd had a great time and kept going red because she kept getting flashbacks of herself watching us shagging as she was riding Max!

The rest of the week has been a bit of an anti-climax to be honest. I dropped Mandy back at her place and spent the rest of Sunday recovering (sleeping on my sofa!) Mandy's been working late for the last couple of evenings so I've not seen her. I did have a phone call from Max though thanking me for letting him share our room and the free sex show. Cheeky sod!

No real reason, just didn’t feel like going out. I often get like this, especially when the weather is a bit pants. Mary, my new lodger, isn’t used to my ‘ways’ yet and has convinced herself I’m depressed. Of course my other lodgers know I’m not but have attempted to convince her that I’m a manic depressive. This would be OK but they’ve also convinced her that I’m safe so long as I’m seen around the house but if I don’t leave my flat (which is the huge attic in my house) for a couple of days I become dangerous.

They’ve almost got her convinced that last time it happened I was arrested in the middle of Leeds city centre dressed in nothing but a thong and a Bradford City football shirt and was attacking people with a large leek! I think they’ve gone a bit far. I mean, as if I’d ever wear a football shirt! According to my sources (Mandy) she almost believes this. If I didn’t need to get to the kitchen to cook food I’d be tempted to hide in the flat for a couple of days to see what Mary does!

Speaking of mental these two head cases are driving from Thailand to the UK in a Tuk Tuk. The Armed Technician is also following their progress in his Blog. I particularly approve of his naming the Tuk Tuk Dyke-Bike! I’m sure the two girls are hetro but I think Jo is a bit of a babe and the Tuk Tuk is the gayest transport I've ever seen.

Do you like today's Icon by the way? I've just bought a dress like this to wear at a friends 30th birthday party this weekend. The only difference between how I'll look and how the Icon looks is that I need to wear black stockings because my glowing white legs look odd stuck between the bottom of the dress and my black boots!

I tried to wear the dress without a bra to start with. It looked very sexy (Mandy was almost drooling when I walked around and my boobs were swaying!) but when I danced my boobs fell out. I had to go back out and buy a strapless bra for safety's sake. Mandy was disapointed until I tried it on and she saw that it's given me a killer cleavage! She won't tell me what she's wearing but she has a huge collection of classy Goth dresses to chose from so I'm sure she'll look fabulous. I'm sure 'fishnet' and 'black' will feature highly in her outfit!

I went walking with a friend, Andy, and his cousin Tim this weekend and Tim did just that. I had a go and I can recommend it. It's like you're defying nature and life even though you are totally insignificant. Tim told me he does it when he's feeling down. He spent three years being treated for clinical depression and found screaming his lungs out in the middle of nowhere, especially in shite weather, helped more than any of the hundreds of therapy sessions he attended. I'm not sure about it being a cure and I've never suffered from depression, but I felt breathless and almost high when I'd finished. The sheep weren't too impressed though.

Speaking of down, I've got the song 'Miss You' by Blink 182 buzzing around in my head at the moment. I saw the video to this song late last night and I can't get the image of the two girls dressed in 1920's underwear kissing out of my head. It's such an erotic image it's making me giddy! I've always loved dressing up for sex and now I'm wondering what it would be like to dress in period underwear. All that silk, ribbon and pale white skin. I'm downloading a copy of the vid at the moment so I can examine it in more detail!

I am a tit.

I'm seeing more of Mandy as time goes on. We've agreed on a casual, open relationship since neither of us is really into monogomy. I've only taken advantage once to have another afternoons sex with Jane. Well kinky stuff but I can't help finding her boring to chat to when we've done with the sex. Why is it parents always want to talk about their offspring in such a cloying manner? "Little Daniel is such a bright little boy and his teachers think he's wonderful."

Boring at the best of times and entirely inappropriate when you've just spent an hour with your tongues in each other's orifices! <img src="/img/smilies/icon_twisted.gif" alt=":>" class="middle" border="0">

Questionable Content is a web comic and it totally rocks! I spent all day yesterday reading it from beginning to end. It's like a Goth/Indie soap opera in cartoon form with just the right balance of humour/angst. The artwork is a bit crappy to start with but gets better with time. The plots and dialogue are spot on from the start though.

I occasionally get the urge to sit down and compose something but less frequently than I used to. Usually when I’ve done something sexual that I want to brag about thinking about it!

Mandy is still appearing randomly for sex and, increasingly, conversation. It turns out we both had fairly oddball childhoods with Hippy/Alternative parents. She was actually born outdoors in a field and spent the first five years of her life living in a tepee somewhere in Wales! My mother was a vegetarian naturist who regularly used to disappear from our lives to visit her hippy friends around the UK and, over one winter, Morocco! In fact that’s where she met the guy she eventually left my Dad for.

We spent May Day together hanging out in my flat, watching films and getting drunk. Around 7pm we thought it would be a good idea to walk around the house naked to see how my lodgers reacted. We got as far as stripping to our underwear but Mandy was wearing fishnet stockings and I can’t resist them (I like them on men too but that’s a slightly different perversion!) so I jumped on her and we spent an hour licking each other on the floor!

We eventually did the naked thing around 9pm but the public areas of the house were deserted so it was a bit pointless. Mandy opened the front door and flashed the street but the nearest house doesn’t overlook us and the road is a dead end so there’s no passing traffic! In the end we took pictures of each other using Mandy’s mobile and sent SMS messages to all our mutual friends. We got several penis shots back, one pair of breasts, two bottoms and, bizarrely, a photograph of a friend’s dog! We think she hit send on the wrong picture because we got a picture of her shaved fanny 10 minutes later!

My doc agreed with me that it was the best way to control my period pains. I stopped because I've got it into my head that I didn’t like being dependant on chemicals. Three days of severe period pains has persuaded me that I'm an idiot on this issue and should listen to what the nice clever doctor tells me and not try to second guess her!

As soon as the pain stopped I packed the car up and drove to London for the weekend. When my Mum died I stayed in touch with her boyfriend, Martin, and go and stay with him two or three times a year. He’s a lovely old bloke who lives in a huge Victorian house stuffed full of books, art and small yappy dogs. We generally spend the weekend doing cultural stuff around art galleries and walking the Yaps. I’m not into art that much but Martin is so knowledgeable that a visit to an art gallery changes from a tramp around looking at pretty pictures to a very entertaining day out!

I got home on Monday and found Mandy sitting in my flat with a spool of 50 CD-R’s recording half my CD collection! I’d left her a key although she’s so good at stalking I’m sure she has another way into my flat. I found out she’d been hiding out there since Saturday evening after having a huge bust up with her family in Wales. She’d driven back to Yorkshire but didn’t want to go home because she shares a flat with her sister and brother-in-law and the bust up had been partly to do with them.

I’ve offered her my spare room for as long as she wants it but she’s been offered a room with some student friends that she thinks she might take. I felt sorry for her but a little jealous that she has family to fight with! I’m also quite relieved that she’s not going to move in here. I think it’s because she turns up for sex fairly randomly and I find that exciting. If she lived here we’d have more sex but it would bore me!

Speaking of sex, I went to see my married mother of 2.4 children friend Jane on Tuesday afternoon. We were neighbours for a couple of years but she moved to a village a couple of miles away last year. Jane is married, conservative, mumsy and practical. It took me nearly six months to persuade her to go to bed with me and she was so stiff at first I thought it was all going to go wrong! After a lot of gentleness and patience she practically melted into my arms and let herself go. After the first time we had sex at least once a week (she used to schedule me in her diary!) for a couple of years and she turned into a bit of an animal in bed.

From what she told me about her relationship with her husband it saved them from a divorce too. I made her throw out all her boring, comfortable underwear and buy some sexy stuff and buy some sex toys. I also got her to think of some fantasies then suggested she tell her husband about them. Her husband knows about me but we’ve never met each other. Jane tells me he doesn’t want to meet me and pretends I don’t exist although he acknowledges my responsibility for the change in his wife! I know it doesn’t justify me having an affair with a married woman but it made Jane feel better.

I’m sure he was relieved when Jane and I stopped seeing each other when they moved. We kind of drifted apart in the end because we could only see each other during the day and we both got full time jobs in the same month. Then they moved away and I lost touch for 18 months or so before bumping into her walking around the supermarket.

As this coincided with my break up with Vicky I went home with her and we spent the afternoon catching up and had a very quick but satisfying shag before I left. She was still with her husband and they are getting on better than ever before especially now their two kids were older (I have no idea what they’re called or what age they are. I’m pretty sure they’re both girls though!) I went round on Tuesday expecting lunch and a chat but Jane dragged me off to bed and did nice things that made me go all wibbly. I then returned the favour and found that Jane had developed a couple of new fetishes involving her bottom since we last saw each other. She confessed to shagging (her term was ‘making love to’) two other women since we split but nothing serious or lasting. She wants to keep seeing me and I have no objection to that so long as it stays as casual as it was before.

Hmm, this Blog has gone in directions I didn’t expect it to go. Still, that’s what it’s supposed to do isn’t it? I keep noticing my use of the word casual to describe my relationships with girlfriends. I had a long discussion about relationships with Martin over the weekend and he told me he thought I was afraid of commitment. Like I need an amateur psychologist to tell me that!

I've spent the day wrapped in a blanket because I woke up with stomach cramps this morning and nothing I've tried has shifted them. I used to get bad period pains when I was a teenager and went on the pill at 14 to stop them (and to stop babies but my Dad didn't know that at the time!). I came off the pill just before Xmas because I decided I was only going to have sex with girls (and shagged a bloke two weeks later!) and the pains have been getting steadily worse since. I'm off to the docs tomorrow to get a new supply in I think. I hate being a girl sometimes although Andy is always telling me my pain is nothing compared to a bloke getting his foreskin stuck in a zipper!

Kim has moved out and is living with her Mum. Mike keeps ringing me and crying down the phone. I went round on Thursday to make sure he was OK and he tried to kiss me then started begging me to go to bed with him. All his bleating about depression and he's just trying for a sympathy shag! Fuckwit.

Mandy: Went into town with Mandy yesterday and watched as she got her third tattoo... a Celtic knot on her left upper arm. She already has a tribal pattern on her right arm and a small Welsh dragon on her right shoulder blade. Did I mention she's Welsh? I don't think I did. When she gets angry she lapses into Welsh which is hilarious because it doesn't seem to have any swear words of its own! You get this mental phlegm-launching tirade interspersed with English vulgarities. It always makes me laugh although she's never done it to me so it would. On the subject of which she spoke Welsh to me all the time we were shagging on Saturday night and I found it quite erotic.
Books: The Vampire Lestat has a shit cliffhanger ending. Worse still is the start of the next book in the series (Queen Of the Damned) doesn't even carry on where the cliffhanger ended! So two books into the series and I can't decide if I like or loathe the books. The characters are annoying. I wanted to slap Louis about when I read 'Interview' and Lestat is so in the closet it's untrue. I'm taking a break at the moment and reading the sixth Harry Potter book. I hope Mr Potter is less of a brat than he was in the Order of the Pheonix and Hermione is less of a smart arse little swot.

Final Thought: Is it wrong that I want to bend Hermione over a desk, expose her lilly white bottom and spank her? With Harry and Ron naked, tied to chairs and made to watch. <img src="/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif" alt=">:-[" class="middle" border="0">

He was trying to shock his girlfriend, Kim, into not leaving him and he threatened to slit his wrists. He grabbed a kitchen knife and chased his girlfriend around the flat holding the blade over his wrist telling Kim she wasn't leaving or he'd really cut himself. Kim carried on packing and ignoring him and finally headed for the door. I don't know if he meant to cut himself or if he slipped (he was pissed as a fart) but he slit into his left wrist severing the artery and several tendons. Kim freaked out at the sight of all the blood and rang me knowing I was just around the corner and had a car.

I drove around with my mate Andy who was visiting me and walked into a hallway covered in blood. Mike was sitting in the hall holding a towel around his wrist to stop the flow of blood but kept forgetting to hold the towel tightly so little spurts of blood kept shooting across the hall carpet! Kim was in hysterics thinking Mike was going to die. Andy clamped a fresh towel over Mike's arm and we all got in my car and drove to the local A&E. They ignored us for 20 minutes during which time Mike was going fairly pale and we had a nice pool of blood under his seat.

Finally we got him seen and he was admitted. The artery was insignificant according to the doctor and would heal easily but the tendons would need surgery to reattach! We took Kim to her Mum's and I dropped Andy off and got to bed at 2am. I didn't want to be alone so I rang Mandy's mobile and found she was asleep in my spare room! She'd turned up earlier, found out what happened and decided to kip in the spare room in case I wanted her. That girl has a very freaky sixth sense! She came up to my flat and we went to bed and cuddled before I fell asleep. She was gone when I woke up this morning (more evidence of her being a vampire. I'm a very light sleeper and not many people can get out of my bed without waking me!) and had left a post-it note with a love heart drawn on it with Call Me written inside the heart.

Since my last Blog entry I’ve had sex with three other women. One married woman I’ve been having occasional sex with for years, a one night stand with a woman I picked up at the local gay pub (can’t remember her name as a consequence of a lot of vodka and orange) and a lot of sex with a lunatic called Mandy who is a friend of a lodger. Mandy is pretty cool although she’s intense to the point of stalking me at the moment! That’s not as bad as it sounds because, as I said, Mandy is a very cool Vampire obsessed Goth girl with a killer body and very kinky sexual habits and is managing to stalk me without looking like she’s stalking me!

Hang on, that doesn’t sound right. OK, this might explain it. A guy who tracked me down when I accidentally let slip where I lived in a chat room stalked me for a couple of months four or five years ago. He followed me when I went out in my car, stared at me across the room in pubs and started sending me gifts every other day. He never spoke to me or approached me too closely but he always seemed to be around. Eventually I was so creeped out by him that I had a large friend of mine have a word with him and he buggered off.

Mandy isn’t doing that but she does seem to have an uncanny knack of turning up whenever I’m out and about. I’ve bumped into her in pubs, in the supermarket and in my lodger’s living room where she’s been sat with her friends. Whenever we meet we end up in bed together. In a week and a half we’ve had sex on no less than 15 occasions! We’ve ‘bumped’ into each other in the afternoon, had sex, Mandy has gone home and ‘bumped’ into me later that evening and we’ve had sex again! It’s good sex too, none of this ‘making love’ bollocks but hard core shagging!

I’m currently reading Anne Rice’s ‘The Vampire Lestat’. He describes a vampire’s ability of being able to move around a room outside of mortal time. I swear Mandy is doing that sometimes! At some point I’m expecting to find her teeth sunk into my neck and I’m going to wake up as an undead blood sucker. Happily Mandy seems unaffected by sunlight so I’ll still be able to go walking in the Dales and see the view!

She wanted more than I was prepared to give so we ended it before it got too messy.

Usually I have an idea why my relationships go wrong but in this case I'm totally bemused. We were getting on fine, seeing each other a couple of times a week, having lots of fun in and out of bed and giving each other lots of personal space when we needed it. Actually when I needed it thinking about it.

Last night Vicky told me she didn't want that as it felt like I was using her and she wanted more comitment from me. I wasn't prepared to give that so she left. I had no idea she felt like that and her commitment speech came totally out of the blue. I'm not usually that bad at reading people but Vicky's moods and feelings have always been hard to judge.

I don't know if I'm pissed off, upset, happy or sad at Vicky going. Actually, thinking about it now I'm writing it down, I don't feel anything. Maybe a little sad that I won't be able to borrow movies from her and a little pissed off that the regular sex will stop but apart from that I'm fairly neutral about the whole thing. Maybe that tells me all I need to know about our failed relationship!

There were kisses, tears and promises to meet up again from Jodie. The little sprog sods made me cry too and my eye makeup (which I was only wearing because Anne insisted) wasn't waterproof so I ended up looking like a blonde Goth panda! I drove Jodie home from the railway station with her chattering about how cool Anne was and how she couldn't wait to see her again. I promised to keep in touch and left her outside her house. 10 minutes later she rang my mobile to get Anne's email address. In the emotions turmoil of their parting they totally forgot about it! Kids today eh?

Came home and locked myself in my room. I have had six nights of Anne, Vicky and then Jodie hanging out with me and I want to some anti-social time. Vicky has gone off for a long weekend with some friends so I'm planning on spending as much time as possible on my own while she's gone. I often get like this and can go days without seeing anyone (harder than you imagine when you live in a house that has six other residents in it). Three years ago I bought a static caravan on a site near Pateley Bridge in the Dales. I was going through a bad patch with several ex-partners hassling me and it became my place to escape. I'd take my bike and ride up there the long way round and spend a couple of days at a time there. Just me, some music and a heap of novels. Oh and loads of beer or vodka.

When my last long term partner (Debbie) moved in I stopped using the caravan and eventually sold it back to the site owners. Debs was away a lot on work placements while she was living with me so I got long chunks of time to myself. I quite liked that and I think it was the reason I was with her for so long (18 months. Almost a life time in my relationships). When she finished college and spent two months solid here looking for work I nearly bought another caravan! Actually it wasn't that bad but I almost gave her money to go to the cinemas on a couple of occasions when I just wanted my flat to myself for a couple of hours!

My relationship with Vicky is still quite new and she's a very individual and solitary person herself so it seems to be working out quite well between us. Neither of us is afraid to say 'not tonight love, I want to lie on my sofa by myself and watch six hours of Farscape' and know the other won't get offended.

Right, that's it. Get out of my flat. I want to be alone.

Vicky had Sunday off so we could go out and get pissed on Saturday night for a change. I had little Anne from London to stay with me for the week on her Mum's suggestion and we had a brilliant time. Vicky and I took her out to a couple of gay bars we both occasionally frequent and she pulled! The girl she met is 17 and going through much the same shit as Anne is but with a load of racism mixed in (she's mixed race). It turns out she lives not far from us so we gave her a lift home when the club chucked us out early Sunday morning and she ended up hanging out with us all day Sunday. Well, I say us but she spent most of her time in my spare room with Anne.

Yesterday evening we all went out for an Italian meal in Bradford. During the meal Vicky confessed that one of the best thrills she gets in life is driving her Audi TT around naked. She was telling us that it has tinted windows in all but the windscreen and you sit low down so hardly anyone can see that you're naked! She does it a lot on hot summer evenings when she can't sleep. I had a similar confession in that I sometimes wander out into my garden and lay on the lawn naked looking at the stars when it's too hot to sleep. The two sprogs were totally gobsmacked at our 'daring' for some reason.

When it came time to go home we got a couple of miles outside Bradford and were heading into the hills when Vicky asked me to pull over. I found a place to stop without putting the car in a ditch (been there, done that, had to get a friend with a landrover to pull me out!) and Vicky suggested we drive the rest of the way home naked. Of course I accepted and Vicky and I stripped off. Anne and Jodie kept saying we were mad and I don't believe they thought we'd actually do it until I drove off wearing nothing but my boots! About half a mile down the road Anne stripped off and joined us then spent the next mile convincing Jodie to strip. In the end she did but kept crouched down below the windows whenever we saw lights on the road! We made it home without getting arrested then found out just how difficult it is to sort clothes and get dressed in a dark Astra!

This morning Jodie and Vicky had to go off to work so Anne and I went out for shopping, had a nice lunch then spent the afternoon listening to music. I asked her what she thought of the drive home last night and she said 'thrilling'. I then tried to get her to tell me what she'd been doing with Jodie but she refused to go into details! She did admit that she feels she is no longer a virgin though. She's out at the cinema with Jodie at the moment and should be back soon. I hope she is as I'm worried about her being out so late. Is this what mothers feel like all the time? They can keep it.

Dave, my tame handy man, invited me round to his house to browse his MP3 collection today. I've been a big fan of MP3's since a friend pointed out that the stereo in my old car could play CD-Rs of MP3 albums. I wasn't that impressed until he pointed out that you can get 7-10 albums worth of music on one disc! Since then I've been ripping my own CD's as and when I've wanted to listen to them in the car. Dave is into file sharing and uses something called DC++ to steal errm, download for trial, albums from other geeks around the world. Actually he mostly collects stuff you can't buy in the shops: live bootlegs and demos from new bands. His knowledge of rock out geeks mine and that's saying something!

Anyway I came away from his house with 14 CD's full of MP3s that he recomended I listen to. Three discs have nothing but cover versions of rock songs by various metal bands and there's a metal tribute to Abba somewhere in amongst the discs! I got home and connected my desktop machine up to the stereo and I've been listening to some really bizarre stuff ever since. I may not leave this room for days at this rate if left to my own devices. Luckily Vicky is coming over tomorrow afternoon to rescue me from myself and take me out shopping for underwear.

Vicky pointed out that when I bother to wear a bra and knickers they inevitably have holes in them or frayed edges and I need to replace them. I do have quite a lot of nice underwear (lacy, frilly, sexy stuff to wear with stockings and heels) but I only wear it when I'm going out all dressed up (which is not as often as Vicky thinks I should) so it's the everyday stuff I'm replacing. I have to admit that I'm actually looking forward to shopping with Vicky and I'm hoping for a little bit of freerange sex in the dressing rooms. <img src="/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif" alt=">:-[" class="middle" border="0">

She's bought herself a ex-council house and the decor and some of the wood work was totally knackered. We've been slowly stripping off the old paint and wallpaper and re-decorating the place. I've had my pet handyman in to replace some of the knackered floor boards and he's worked his magic with the cupboard doors in the kitchen and made them all hang straight and stay shut without a strip of insulation tape on them!

Today we spent an hour banging nails deep into the floor boards in the downstairs rooms and then sanded down the floor boards with a big belt sanding machine. It was ace fun and I can totally understand why men get so worked up over power tools! Dave, the handy man, had to confiscate the drill I was using to put up curtain rails with because he didn't like the manic gleam in my eye and the way I was revving it! He seems to think I'm some kind of nutter and says he would only trust me with a spoon if I had an adult to supervise me.

The belt sander handle vibrates in interesting ways too if you get my meaning! Dave looked shocked when we were discussing the merits of vibration and said he wasn't leaving us alone with the sander. Shelley is way beyond that kind of ad-hoc sex device though as she's an Anne Summers party organiser and has a box full of samples in her bedroom!

Dave introduced me to a band called Monster Magnet yesterday. He had several of their albums on his MP3 player so we've been head banging to their music while we paint. They rock and are this weeks favourite band.

Right, I'm off for a long bath to get this paint off me. Dave manages to use a roller and a brush without getting any paint on him at all. I'm covered from head to toe in little splatters of paint including on bits of me that were covered by my clothes! I reckon I could get mucky in a sterile room.

Oh, headbanging with long hair next to wet paint means you get blue streaks in your hair.

I'm told like begins at 30 by people in their 30's so I'll be waiting with baited breath at midnight on the 17th next year to see what life looks like.

I don't really like birthday celebrations so I got up really early and spent my 'special' day walking along the river between Buckden and Kettlewell in the Dales by myself. I was going to meet Vicky from work and stay at her place to avoid my lodgers and friends. Vicky told me we were going out to eat and she was driving so I could have a drink, then drove me to a Chinese restaurant where 15 of my friends were waiting for me! Bastards had found her phone number on my mobile when I wasn't looking and told her about my surprise do! I pretended to hate it but be grumpy for the first 20 minutes then settled down and had a great time.

I hate celebrating my birthday because when I was a kid my Mum and Dad always threw me a party and invited all my friends. Half way through the party they'd have a huge row and upset my friends. I always hated all the shouting and tears and kind of associate birthdays with those times. Damn, a psychiatrist would have a field day with me.

I stayed with my friend Mary and got to spend some quality time with her 16 year old daughter (Anne) whom I mentioned in my last entry.

We talked about sex, sexuality, acceptance and I tried to give her advice on how to handle the bullies at her school. It seems she made the mistake of telling a friend about her feelings and the 'friend' told one person who told another etc. Now she gets called 'Lesbo' when she walks down the corridor and boys keep asking her for a threesome with her girlfriend. Luckily she's a strong lass and 'different' anyway because she's a Goth. She hangs out with a fairly tight community of kids so I reckon she can handle it with their support.

I spent Saturday hanging out with her and her friends and felt old! Luckily I had a couple of hoodies with me so I blended in with the crowd. On Sunday we went out as a foursome to Camden Lock which was cool but a bit too crowded for me. On Sunday night Mary went out with her boyfriend so I spent the evening chatting with Anne and her sister, Sarah. They asked me all kinds of things they felt too embarrassed to ask their Mum about. Although I don't get embarrassed about anything sexual I still did a double take when Sarah asked about masturbation and sex toys!

Vicky worked all weekend but I had the conversation I was winding myself up with this afternoon. Everything is fine between us and I didn't make a big scene or rant or anything. Actually I didn't get a chance as Vicky brought the subject up and explained that she'd come out at the last place she worked and the entire attitude of her work colleagues changed towards her. I know that sounds melodramatic but I have experienced it before with groups of people so I know what she means. I actually quite like the change in attitude but Vicky didn't and doesn't want it to happen again.

Funny how someone's opinion and attitude towards you can change with one little piece of information. I wonder if it happens in other countries or if it's a Brit thing?

I've been worrying this non-issue over and over in my head for two days now and finally did what I always do when I start getting hang ups over something... went to see Andy. As always he gently sat me down, got me a drink and in a soft voice said 'Don't be a twat Lucy or you'll die alone surrounded by cats and they'll find your body when the neighbors complain about the smell.' He's bloody useless at giving advice but very good at reality checks!

I decided that it doesn't matter if Vicky is not 'out' to her work colleagues. I've over reacted in the past to girls who I consider to be 'living a lie'. I realise I was wrong. There's no such thing as living a lie so long as you are true to yourself. Vicky is true to herself and her sexuality is her own and not to be shared with people she works with.

I came home from Andy's in a much better mood and rang Vicky as soon as I knew she'd be home from work. We had a long chat about nothing in particular until we were saying good bye when Vicky suddenly told me she'd never met anyone like me before and what an amazing person I was. I admitted, and this might seem lame but it's a big thing for me, that I had strong feelings for her too and put the phone down a happy little Lucy.

Later on a friend rang me and was asking about my sexuality. She's a lovely lady I met at a gym I used to use years ago and we've kept in touch even though she's moved out of the area. She has two daughters, 14 and 16 and they're starting to ask her questions about sex. The 16 year old one thinks she might be gay and she wanted some information so she could talk to her daughter about it. It's quite a weird feeling to give information that might influence a teenagers lifestyle choice. It made me feel odd for an hour or so after and I realised I was a little broody! I had a stiff drink or three and I feel better now.

More serious bit:
Almost put my foot in it with Vicky's colleagues when I went to kiss her goodbye as they don't know she's gay. I don't know why but the fact that she isn't 'out' with her work colleagues makes me a little apprehensive for some reason. I guess it's part of the sales culture she works in but I need to discuss it with her I think. There was a time when I would have withdrawn from a relationship where the other girl wasn't out but I don't want to this time, even though it's still very early days.

We are getting on like a house on fire you'll be pleased to know.

We spent the evening in the pub meeting Vicky's friends. One of her best friends used to go to school with one of my lodgers! Small world and all that. Found a message saying that one of the houses I rent out was flooded and could I possibly spare some time to go and bale the house out and could I turn my mobile on! It turned out to be leaking tap and not a flood (lodgers with a sense of humour, don't you love them) but it took me all afternoon to track down my plumber and get him to replace it. It also appears my mobile is dead. It turns on and gets a signal but doesn't make or receive calls. I think I've dropped it one too many times. Time for a new one I think as I fancy a new toy. I get my new car tomorrow and the very sexy saleslady has promised me all kinds of extras with it.

Strong Women.

Just to mention a few of my favourites: Ripley in the Alien films, Aeryn Sun in Farscape, Zoe in Firefly (although I have a serious crush on River Tam!), Tasha Yar in The Next Generation, Dax and Kira Nerys in Deep Space Nine and even Princess Leia and Amidala in Star Wars.

Ripley especially embodies the tough 'women are equal to men so don't make me come down there and frag your arse boy' attitude that I love although her mother instinct in Aliens left me a little bewildered. I would have left the kid and legged it well before the planet blew up. I prefered the much harder cloned version in Alien 4 but I really got off on the almost lesbian interaction between Ripley and Call (Winona Ryder) so I would say that.

First place for looks would go to Aeryn Sun but I could be a little bit biased at the moment because Vicky looks very much like Claudia Black who plays Aeryn. Same hair, body shape and strong facial features.

I've not mentioned Tank Girl because she's not really Sci Fi but she deserves an honourable mention in passing. She's my favourite person for a fancy dress costume although my friends don't like how far I get into the character when I'm drunk! I had my rubber baseball bat confiscated at the last party I 'played' Tank Girl at because I managed to break three bottles and hit one guy in the bollocks. The bottles were clumsiness, the bollocks were an accident. I was going for his knee but he opened his legs at the wrong moment and I missed!

Vicky brought the season one box set over on Friday night and we sat and watched four episodes cuddled up on the sofa together. The plot line is a bit corny to start with but it soon settles down into a very good sci-fi series with lots of cool plots and sub-plots. Vicky is totally obsessed with the show and has all the series box sets as well as the peacekeeper wars mini series. She's been to sci-fi conventions dressed as Aeryn Sun and Chiana! I thought I was a sci-fi geek but Vicky is in a different league to me which is kind of scary and brilliant at the same time.

After four episodes Vicky was almost asleep so we went to bed and fell asleep kissing and stroking each other which I love. In fact it's the one thing I miss when I don't have a regular partner. By the time we’d finished the dealership was closing so Vicky asked me if I fancied going out. I accepted on condition that she didn’t try and sell me anything!

We went out for a Thai meal when she’d finished work and ended up back at her place. After a couple of hours of very intense sex that started in the living room and ended up in the bedroom via the shower, we lay in bed chatting until late. It seems we have a number of conquests of the same women in common! During the conversation I found out that one of the last straight women I ‘corrupted’ is actually very gay and always pretends it’s her first time with all the women she sleeps with! Still if that’s what she gets off on then who am I to criticise her?

I woke up in her bed this morning (unusual for me as I usually like to go home) and she made me breakfast in bed then went down on me until I was begging her to stop! She promised she would if I bought the car from her, typical bloody salesperson! In the end she had to stop because I was screaming loudly enough for her neighbours to bang on the wall of the flat!

Anyway I went to the dealer this morning and bought the car and asked her out tonight. Apparently she’s tired for some reason and wants a quiet night in so she’s coming over here to watch a film (she’s another Sci-fi/Fantasy geek)

It's a weird class to have on a Geography degree but what do I know.

Actually I offered to pose for Dan last summer but for various reasons we never actually managed to make a date. His girlfriend didn't help by totally freaking out when he told her what he wanted to do. OK I can understand she doesn't want him to look at other naked women but I don't understand why she always refuses to pose for him instead. It's not like he's not seen her naked. Then again he's not a brilliant artist when it comes to life models (he's predominantly a sculptor) so not painting his girlfriend is probably a good idea especially given how sensitive she is.

We got around the girlfriend problem by doing it behind her back. Dan is going to tell her that his class clubbed together and paid for a model if she sees the sketches he made. There's no face on them so he should be OK.

I'd forgotten how boring it can be standing in one position all the time. I used to pose for a couple of all female night classes four or five years ago and stopped doing it because it was so dull. Still, at least Dan has a good DVD collection so I could watch Alien 4 again!

Is it just me that loves the sound the bottles make when you throw them through the hole and they smash to pieces on the other bottles? <img src="/img/smilies/icon_twisted.gif" alt=":>" class="middle" border="0"> A little old lady who was disposing of her bottles gave me a very disaproving look while I was doing it. Actually it would have been the quantity of bottles I was getting rid of her that made her look like she'd just eaten a lemon!

This evening the lodgers have been removing Xmas from our house. I cracked in the end and helped take the decorations down and stash them away for next year. We found an unopened bottle of Absolut Vodka stashed down the back of one of the sofas in the living room which was a suprise as noone can remember buying Absolut!

Remember I talked about Sally and Martin? They've seen each other nearly every day since I introduced them and Sally more or less lives here at the moment. That might not mean much to you but Martin had a really shity couples of years with women. His last girlfriend stole his savings, the one before that shagged his best mate then ran off with him and the one before that tried to stab him! It's wonderful that he's found a non psychopathic soulmate at last.

I’m usually up around 7am and eat breakfast with my lodgers before they head out to University/Work. This morning I woke at 10am and wandered downstairs in my new silk kimono/dressing gown (late Xmas pressie from a mate who lives in Tokyo) to find the house totally empty. After the last week and a half of Xmas and New Year madness it’s a weird feeling to walk around this big house and not see or hear anyone.

I ate breakfast watching the birds eating off the new bird feeder attached to the conservatory window. I realised I need a book to identify them so I’ll be browsing Amazon later on today. Also on the cards for today is a trip down to the bottle bank to get rid of the hundreds of beer and wine bottles left over from the various parties we’ve had. I’ve borrowed a friend’s Transit so I can shift them all. Last time I drove a van I backed into a small wall and totally demolished it so I’m a little nervous!

I’ve refused to take down the Xmas decorations on the basis that I put them up so hopefully one of the lodgers will get off their bums and take them down before they curse they house to bad luck for a year. Not that I believe in all that mumbo jumbo bollocks you understand.

That's what's happened to me today. We cracked the first bottle of wine at 3pm and the last people standing (myself, my best mate Andy, his girlfriend Louise and her brother Adrian) went to bed half an hour ago! At one point we had fifty people in the house and the round of New Year kisses seemed to take me the best part of an hour. Mind you, I did keep going back for exra kisses from some people!

I've missed writing my blog for a couple of days. The day before yesterday (30th) I spent the day visiting friends and got home exhausted at midnight. I went to see Sandy in the early evening and sorted things out with her properly. She's good friends with one of my good friends and I didn't want things to be awkward between the three of us because of our one night stand.

Yesterday I was just too busy getting food and booze in for the party and chosing my outfit. I wore the top Kim bought me for Xmas and because she was at the party I had to wear it with nothing underneath as promised! The icon shows an aproximation to the outfit I was wearing although my boobs are bigger than that! I'm quite used to men talking to my boobs because I usually have a fairly big cleavage but last night I found the guys looking at anything but my boobs! I wasn't quite the most outrageous person at the party though. One of my Goth mates turned up with a new girlfriend and she was wearing a sheer, black body stocking, thigh length boots, a tiny thong and two crosses of tape over her nipples! He was wearing fishnet tights, leather studded shorts, combat boots and a dinner jacket with bow tie. No shirt, just the jacket and a bow tie!

Right, time for bed. Happy New Year everyone.

I'm messing about with several doll makers at the moment to create icons of myself in different outfits and with slighty different hair styles. I spent three hours making icons last night and I've been up for two hours making them this morning!

There are loads of dollmakers on the web and you can create loads of different sizes and characters but this is my current favourite at the moment The Doll Palace

I used to hate playing with dolls when I was a kid but I've always loved dressing up. When I was a teeny I had three friends who were all about the same size and shape as me and they used to drag their entire wardrobes to my house and we'd mix and match our clothing and hold fashion shows! It seems really silly now when I look back on it but it was great fun at the time!

I hate that word when it's used to describe a husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend/fiance. What's wrong with the correct word for your relationship with them? I think it's because it reminds me of the phrase

Other Half.

Just because I'm spending a lot of time, perhaps even the rest of my life, with another person doesn't make me half a person! Worst than that it implies that if you're on your own then you're incomplete and some kind of sad twat. I don't feel the need to be with someone to 'complete' me and I know of several couples who would be far more complete if they split up!
